DuctTRAX embeds microduct into paved surfaces for various data, cabling, and networking connections.
Whether it’s city streets, sidewalks, or parking lots, DuctTRAX utilizes pavement to expand your data network.
DuctTRAX begins with the installation of microducts directly into the pavement. The microducts are carefully secured within channels, providing protection against external forces such as heavy traffic, weather, and wear.
Once the microducts are in place, a specialized protective coating is applied. The coating shields the microducts from physical damage, preventing cracks or leaks and withstands extreme temperatures, UV radiation, and moisture. It cures within minutes, allowing for rapid deployment.
Using a high-pressure air system, technicians jet the optical fiber through the microducts. The blast of air propels the fiber along the entire length of the channel. The result is instant connectivity.
